Senior Vice PresidentMichelle Stillman has over 30 years experience in nursing. She started with Asheville Specialty Hospital at its opening in 2003 as Nurse Educator. In 2009 she became Director of Care Management at ASH and led the performance improvement initiative resulting in the development of LTCH RED. Michelle became a member of the AHA Training Center Faculty in 2007, providing support as an instructor for staff education in ACLS and BCLS. Throughout Michelle's career she has had opportunities to work as a Critical Care Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse, Quality Consultant, Case Manager, and Referral Liaison. Michelle received her BSN from Winston Salem State University in 2005.
Executive Assistant, HR CoordinatorJennifer is a native of Asheville, NC. She has worked in local healthcare for more than 18 years. Jennifer joined Asheville Specialty Hospital in 2003 as a Unit Coordinator. In 2009 Jennifer began working as an administrative assistant and human resources coordinator. Jennifer received her HR Generalist certificate in June 2013. She also serves as Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Director of Quality, Compliance, and Risk ManagementDouglas Sailer joined Asheville Specialty Hospital in May 2014. Douglas is a local graduate of UNC-Asheville and earned an MBA with a minor in health care administration. Douglas has lived and worked in the western North Carolina region since 1990 as a healthcare consultant and program director delivering innovative health services and performance improvement projects across the western region. He has been involved in grants and projects with The Duke Endowment, Kate B. Reynolds, NC DHHS, and the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
