Manager of Respiratory TherapyAnne joined Asheville Specialty Hospital in 2003 as a staff therapist and assumed her present role as director of the Respiratory Therapy department in 2008. She is responsible for the daily functioning of the Respiratory department, and she maintains the policies and education for the staff. Anne has an A.S. from Southwestern Community College and a B.S. from Florida Institute of Technology.
Manager of Therapy, PT, ST, OTLisa Lister joined Asheville Specialty Hospital in 2003 as a staff Physical Therapist, and assumed her current position as the Rehabilitation Director in 2006 . She is responsible for the daily functioning, education, and policies and procedures of the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Nutritional Support departments. She received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida.
William Rodgers, PharmD, BCPS, Director of PharmacyWill joined Asheville Specialty Hospital in December 2014. He oversees the medication use process. He graduated with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Shenandoah University and completed his post-graduate residency at Mission Hospital. He received his Board Certification as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist in 2013.
Maggie Connolly, RN, Infection Prevention/Safety Officer
Maggie Connolly BSN RN is the Infection Prevention/Safety Officer at Asheville Specialty Hospital. She received her nursing education in the UK where she has spent most of her working life. Her nursing education consists of Nursing Diploma and Degree with an Advanced Diploma in Healthcare Ethics and Law. Her nursing experience spans over many years and includes ICU, cardiology and orthopaedics. She joined Asheville Specialty in 2004 having been a travel nurse in Florida and North Carolina. Whilst at Asheville Specialty Hospital she has enjoyed various roles, staff nurse, supervisor, educator/manager, Director of Nursing, and is now the Infection Prevention/Safety Officer.
